Minister Is A Verb

Even after all these years, the expectations of clients continue to amaze me.

Had a call last night at about 5pm to do a closing this morning at 10am. I advised them that I would need all documents that night in order to proceed on time.

A half hour later, I received the work order with no phone number for the signer, so no way to verify the appointment. I sent several emails last night, asking for the documents & phone numbers.

While my client (a signing service) did ask their client (a title company) for help & CC’d me on their email, as of 9am this morning, still no docs or phone number.

Documents finally arrived in my in-box at 9:20am, well past the point when I would need them if I were going to print them in duplicate & arrive at the appointment on time — and AFTER…
